WDCofS was invited to Horbury Academy to talk about the refugee and asylum situation in Wakefield. WDCofS offers a welcome to refugees and asylum seekers living in Wakefield and to those that are passing through the Initial Accommodation Centre. Following the talks about the Asylum Seekers Support Fund and the Clothing Store project, the school collect an astounding amount of essential foodstuff and new clothing for Emergency Packs.
